"The 4C's for purchasing diamonds"
The most crucial factor in studying diamonds before purchasing them is the selected attributes of diamonds (the 4 CS) which are:
- Carat
- Color
- Clarity
- Cut
These four attributes determine the value and price of a diamond. If we know and understand the characteristics well, then we can choose diamonds effectively.
01
Carat
Carat is a unit used to measure the weight of a diamond, where 1 carat = 100 tangs. For example, a 0.50 carat of a diamond = 50 tangs.

Color
Color is the shade of the diamond; by grading the diamonds from best to worst through color, starting with a colorless diamond. 100 is a D Color and descends to 99 (E Color), to 98 (F Color), and so on in the rating. Moving down the scale to near-colorless (G-J) all the way to light (S-Z) that shows noticeable colors in the diamonds.
04
Clarity
Clarity is the natural defect of a diamond, the clearer the diamond is, which is rare, the higher the price. Starting with F (Flawless) - no flaws at all, until I (Imperfect Inclusions) - very flawed.
